If you are going to be in hospital for a little while, it’s a good idea to bring your schoolwork with you. You don’t need to worry about missing out on school. Some hospitals have their own hospital school and teachers to help you with your schoolwork.

Many hospitals also have teachers who will come and work with you at the bedside. A few hospitals might even allow you to have Internet access from your bed!

If you are having an off day in hospital and don’t feel like gong to the hospital school, you don’t have to go. But, lots of children like going as there is lots to do there to keep you busy.

Your say on hospital school

“Good, you get lots done, more than you would at school. It has everything you need.” Sarongen

“It’s good, it helps you not to miss anything that you would be doing at your own school. It’s better than normal school cos you get free time to do what you want.” Tracy
